Harvest Walk This Saturday

This Saturday in Bellows Falls is the Harvest Walk fundraiser for the Vermont and New Hampshire Foodbanks sponsored by Sovernet. There are many people in our communities who rely on help from the foodbanks to feed their families. The event was wonderful last year! Compass Newsletter -- September 17, 2008

As is often the case, today's newsletter is full of announcements about interesting special learning opportunities, both off-campus and on. But what sometimes goes unsaid here is the wonderfully focused  learning atmosphere that we see during "regular" class times.

How do rainbows work?

Why do onions make us cry?

Where do ocean waves come from?

Are bubbles spherical?  If so, why?

What makes metal?
