2010 Science of the Mind Journal is now here!
We are delighted to announce that our 2010 Science of the Mind Journal is finally finished, printed, and ready for distribution!
With the help and expertise of scientists and experts in the field of neuroscience, meditation, anatomy and physiology, etc., our students at Compass School in Westminster, VT have found deeper meaning in their education and lives as they have explored the nature and workings of the brain and mind.
Each of our 8 juniors and seniors worked tirelessly contacting experts and writing multiple drafts of their brain/mind-inspired articles. We are so proud of each of the students’ dedication to this educational process and thank each and them for pushing themselves and taking this exiting topic to a new level!
As educators, we are eager to share examples of curriculum, the process of finding ‘experts’ in and out of the classroom in the fields of psychology, neuroscience, meditation, and education, and creating authentic assessment tools with anyone who is interested.
We sure hope you enjoy this piece and that it makes you think differently about how you think about your own brain and mind!
Warmly,
Amir Flesher and Beth White
