1960’s Living History Museum at Compass School, Tuesday, January 26th
The 9/10th grade Compass School Humanities classes will be presenting a Living Museum of the 1960's on January 26th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Compass School on Route 5 just south of Bellows Falls. All are invited to this culminating event of the students’ in-depth study of this decade. Come relive these exciting times with exhibits, music, costumed characters, food, and maybe even a small protest or sit-in to keep things lively. This is a great chance for the community to see the quality of student work and thought around one of the most important periods of our recent history. Costumes are encouraged! Also, we are looking for artifacts for this exhibit: please look in your closets and attics. For more information, contact Julia Taylor at Julia@compass-school.org or call the school at 463-2525.
