10th Year Anniversary Bash

For an informal but high spirited celebration of the school's 10th year, a couple hundred "Friends of Compass" showed up to share stories and reconnect. It was great to see the mix of alumni, current students, parents, founding and current board members, and a variety of friends who have been part of Compass' continued evolution and growth. Cher Anderson, our revered school chef, provided a sumptuous feast of fresh salsa and chips, organic salad, and barbeque chicken and tempeh and hot dogs. After dining together, we enjoyed entertainment from various Compass students, faculty, and even some parents. The high point of the evening was the open forum when we invited remarks from anyone present. The touching memories, funny stories, and heartfelt expressions of appreciation for Compass was deeply rewarding for all in attendance. We are planning for a more formal celebration in the Fall and hope to see many of you there.
