GMO Author Jeffrey Smith Comes to Compass School!

Compass School and Genetic Engineering Action Group (GEAG) is pleased to host this year's Common Ground Fair keynote speaker Jeffrey Smith, author and international speaker on the health dangers of genetically modified food.
Please join us as he discusses his work in the field of genetically modified organisms (GMO's) at our All School meeting (from 10:00-11:00), and then after a short lunch break, as he delves deeper into the science and health effects of GMO food with Beth and Eric's 11-12th grade science classes. He will draw on his experiences as a researcher and author of several books/columns, (such as Seeds of Deception, Genetic Roulette, and Spilling the Beans) and his work producing the docu-video series The GMO Trilogy. We hope that community members, local farmers, and friends will be able to join us at this amazing event! Those who can't come to this presentation will have a second chance to hear Mr. Smith speak at the Putney Public Library at 6:30 pm.
