due Thursday 10/30: Examen Final. Final draft of your paragraph for the altar as well as offerings for la ofrenda.

due Tuesday 10/28: Review for Examen Final. Write a paragraph about a person or animal you know who has died who you would like to honor on Día de los Muertos. Write this in the present tense. Include his/her relation to you, a description of him/her and things that he/she likes/doesn't like.

due 10/22: "Frases Creativas", and start reviewing

due 10/20: Read "Tío Fernando" Translate your assigned pages and write them out on a separate piece of paper. Hand in a list of 10-20 words you looked up with their meanings.

due 10/15: "Ir" handout

due 10/13: Final Draft of your "Oda". Be prepared to recite it in class.

due 10/9: Write your own "Oda a..." some kind of food. Rough draft is due. Download assignment here.

due 10/7: Make corrections to Comida quiz. Study for gustar quiz. Study new vocab words. Practice quiz here.

due 10/2: Write 2 verses (6 lines each) of the song "Me gustas tu".

due 9/30: Study for quiz on food. All verbs and vocab from sheet included. Review ar/er/ir verb conjugation as well as nouns and adjectives.

due 9/23: Write about 3 of your favorite foods from the food vocab sheets without using the name of the food. (We're going to read them and guess your favorite food in class.)

due 9/16: Handout from class. Quiz on list of verbs, AR/ER/IR conjugations, question words, possessive pronouns. Talk to me on Monday if you have questions about any of this!

due 9/10: write 5 questions and 5 answers based on the conversation activity we did in class
