COMPASS SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE

Due to the weather, Compass School classes have been cancelled for Wednesday Feb. 24th.

7th grade math third trimester

I am so excited to be working with this class. 7th grade math is the biulding block for so many concepts and also so practical. I have been teaching the cerebral math for so long it is nice to be grounded again.  Here we go....

Pre-Calculus 3rd Trimeser

As we wrap up the year we will do a number of diverse concepts in pre-calculus. Starting with Logarithms and ending with a huge review for the exam. It is my hope you don't face the exam with a worry and fears. I hope to set aside time but you will have to bring effort. You have covered many diverse concepts I am teaching you now because I have taught all these concepts before. If you had difficulty before just remember to come with an open mind. Maybe we can each explain concepts in a new way.

Ecuador Global Exchange Program Reflections

Here are some of the initial reflections of the junior class who all went to Ecuador for two weeks in February for direct immersion in life beyond our borders. The class will be working on presentations locally to share more about their experiences.

Sara's Day 1

When we got started we had computer challenges. Here is what Sara had to shre that never got posted.

"Today, most of us had been awake since 4:00am. So when we all got in the van, headed towards Hartford’s airport in Connecticut, there were a lot of tired faces. Thanks to Willy, we got to the airport with plenty of time for our 9:00 flight.

Compass School is closed for February Break

Compass School is closed from Monday February 14 through Friday February 19.  Classes will resume on Monday, February 22.
