Peter Terwilliger wins Congressional Art Award

Compass students have been producing incredibly high quality work this year. The numerous public exhibitions have highlighted the wealth of talent here. Compared to other schools at these exhibits, it appears Compass has a higher percentage of students displaying their art, the art is more often connected to the academic curriculum, and the quality is more consistent across the board. Compass Middle School Vernal Pool Study

Five Compass Students Attend the 2009 Vermont Girls Conference

Five Compass teens attended a 1-day violence against women conference in Essex Junction, Vermont.  They had the opportunity to focus their awareness on sexual violence and its prevention in order to empower themselves with the necessary resources to make healthy decisions about relaitonships and personal safety.
