10th Grade Roundtables!

10th grade means time for Division II Exhibitions.

This is a very exciting time.  This exhibition will serve as a teaching and learning tool that will provide you with the opportunity to observe your growth, to evaluate your work and reflect upon your learning experiences for the Compass Learning Realms.

Compass 10th Anniversary Celebration

It is hard to believe Compass has been in existence for 10 years! It seems just yesterday when the idea of providing a high school and middle school option where every child could find success was being presented at a school board meeting. After beginning with 47 students in grades 7-9, Compass is proud of its many successes, with its 7th graduating class this June, with over 90% of its students going on to college.

Compass-New England Youth Theater Develop Unique Partnership

Once again this year, Compass 9th and 10th graders were challenged to write 10 minute plays in Humanties class. This is a tremendously difficult task in itself, requiring skillful writing, a strong story to tell, an ear for dialogue, and a sensibility about voice and audience that truly stretches these students.
