1920's Museum- Rescheduled for Friday Jan. 30th 6:30-8:30pm.

The 9/10th graders are working creating a Living 1920's Museum. Come mingle with Charlie Chaplin and Mary Pickford, and read about the politics and culture of the day.

Wed. Jan. 28 -- Along with the rest of WNESU, Compass School is closed today due to the snowstorm. Have a safe and pleasant snowy day.

Juniors leave for Mexico this Friday!

Our junior class heads out Friday morning for their 15-day expedition to Arizona and Mexico. ¡Buen viaje!

  

Basketball-- Our girls will play Putney School next week on Monday, January 26, in Putney.  Game time will be 3:30 or 4:00, awaiting confirmation.  This will be our last game of the season.  Thanks, everyone! - Ron

Important schedule note:

  • Monday Jan. 19 - no school - Martin Luther King holiday
  • Tuesday Jan. 20 - no school - teacher inservice  (Compass Open House Jan. 20 at 7pm.)

Happy New Year! ... '09 will be fine!

 

First Day of Winter Sports is this Thursday Jan. 8th

Thursday Jan. 8th will be our first day of winter sports. Students have shortened academic classes at school from 8:30am-10:30am, and then we gear up to go to our activities. In addition to appropriate clothing and gear, students should bring a bag lunch. (No lunch is served at Compass.) The normal itinerary for winter sports groups will be as follows:

Wednesday Jan. 7th -- Compass CLOSED today.

Alumni Day is rescheduled for this Friday January 9th 10am-2pm.

Compass School, Monday January 5th: Good morning and happy new year! Along with the rest of Windham Northeast, we will have a 2-hour delay this morning. Classes at Compass will start at 10:30 a.m. today. (Our day will end at the normal time of 4:00pm today.) Be safe everyone.
