Mountain Day

On Friday October 3rd we will be heading out for our annual mountain day hike. This year we plan to tackle Mount Sunapee in Newbury, New Hampshire.  Mountain Day is not simply a hike up a local hill. This day contributes significantly to our community by placing students together in new groups, experiencing both challenges and fun with new faces and ages, thus building greater understanding and appreciation for each other.

Harvest Walk This Saturday

This Saturday in Bellows Falls is the Harvest Walk fundraiser for the Vermont and New Hampshire Foodbanks sponsored by Sovernet. There are many people in our communities who rely on help from the foodbanks to feed their families. The event was wonderful last year! This year features a 1.5 mile walk around Minard's Pond in Bellows Falls through the woods along marked trails (Maps available when you register); a wonderful lunch prepared by Foodbank chefs, and live music. This is a great cause, and there are several ways you can help:

Match will be with the Middle School team from 4:00pm - 5:00pm.  Back at Compass School by 5:30pm
