Newsletters will normally come out every Wednesday. Here is a special weekend edition to give a heads up on schedule and basic information.

Welcome to my homepage.

This is my fourth year at Compass School.  I have the privilege of teaching science to the Compass 7th and 8th graders.  I'm also very fortunate to be the advisor to the 8th grade.

I've been an educator and administrator for over 25 years.  During that time I've had the honor of being the Founding Director of Shackleton Schools and The Watershed School, two innovative high schools.  I've taught undergraduate and graduate school and taught in public and independent high schools and middle schools.

I am a fifth year humanities teacher at Compass, adviser to half the ninth grade, and the high school ultimate frisbee coach.

I also teach several exploratories (mandatory after school activities) usually art or sports related.
