Dear Friend of Compass,

As we celebrate the 10th year of Compass School, we are proud of our outstanding educational successes. We have grown into a program where students thrive and develop self confidence, leadership, and academic mastery. We are a community where all students are valued and where every student meets high expectations through a wide range of exciting, authentic learning opportunities. The feedback we get from students, parents, and alumni is consistent: Compass School is a gem — a unique and profoundly valuable asset to our community and to the world of education.
   
We need support to achieve our mission. Compass is very idealistic in its continuing effort to provide an educational option for all students regardless of economic need. Our tuition is set at the statewide average, and while this is thousands of dollars below the per pupil cost of local public schools, it is still out of reach for the majority of families who wish their children to attend. Providing substantial financial aid to families is vital for our continued success.
   
Please do what you can to help Compass students. This year we are reaching out to more individuals and businesses than ever before. With students from as far south as Guilford, VT, as far east as Keene, NH, as far north as Springfield, VT, and as far west as Marlboro and Newfane, VT, our community has grown. This year’s Scholarship Fund appeal must provide aid for the many families who need support to provide this life-changing educational option for their children. We thank you for the support you have given Compass in the past, and we ask you to give generously to this campaign to secure a sustainable future for our school.

Your tax deductible donation will go directly and completely to supporting the education of our students. It is the best investment in our future I know. Every $5000 we can raise will allow another student to have this transformational experience.
