Admissions Process
Application materials are available online at:
http://compass-school.org/admissions
Compass School has a rolling admissions process during the academic year. We will consider and approve applications as they are completed. However, as grades may fill quickly, we encourage prospective students to submit your application as early as possible.
Once the application and supporting materials have been received, they are reviewed by the Admissions Committee to determine whether Compass School's program is appropriate to support the educational needs of the applicant.
We encourage parents and students to visit Compass School during the school day or attend one of our Open House presentations to better acquaint themselves with the school community before or during the application process.
Please arrange a school visit by calling (802) 463-2517 or email: admissions@compassschool.org
A complete application must be received before a decision can be made on any applicant.
Interview and Visit
We strongly encourage all applicants and their families to visit Compass School.
Our scheduled visitation times are the 2nd and 4th Monday (for prospective High School students) and Tuesdays (for prospective Middle School students), from 8:25am – 2:10pm, by appointment
If another time is needed, please contact admissions directly at (802) 463-2525, or e-mail at admissions@compass-school.org
Financial Aid
Please find interactive financial aid application materials at:
Applicants seeking financial aid need to submit an application to PSAS (Private School Aid Service). A paper application needs to be filled out and mailed to PSAS - we are not set up to apply online. Financial Aid applications are available at Compass School Admissions. Please call 802-463-2525 to request an application be mailed to you. In order to be considered for first round (priority) financial aid, an application must be postmarked no later than February 15,2012; financial aid is distributed on a first come, first serve basis; it is important to start the application process as early as possible. Financial aid forms can be submitted after February 15th, although funding may be limited.
