Do you want to learn more about Compass School?

Our open houses run from 6-8p with dinner served, and the whole family is welcome. You will have the opportunity to tour the school with a current student and Director Dr. Rick Gordon will present on 21st Century learning, followed by a Q&A. This is a great way to learn more about Compass and meet some members of the community. Come Visit Compass School 
One of the best ways to learn about Compass School, meet staff and students, and see the school occurs during Open House nights. Interested families are encouraged to attend one of these informative events. Visitors can meet and ask questions of current students, their parents, and teachers.  

School Visiting Days
Students interested in Compass are encouraged to schedule visit during the school day to see the Compass in action. This is now a required part of the application process as we think it is important part of getting to know the school. In general, we invite you to schedule an appointment to visit on Tuesdays or Thursdays, though other arrangements can be made.

The school day starts at 8:25am and ends at 2:10pm. Students will shadow a student for the day, attending classes, all-school meeting or advisory (depending on the day), and lunch. Parents are welcome to meet with the admissions team for an appointment, usually scheduled for 8:30am or 1:45pm, though other arrangements can be made. We are here to help you through this exciting process and look forward to hearing from you.

Directions to Compass School

From Brattleboro:
Take Interstate 91 North to EXIT 5 BELLOWS FALLS
Turn RIGHT at the end of the on-ramp (Westminster Road)
Follow to bottom of hill.
Turn Left on 5 at bottom of hill.
Follow past Allen Brothers Gas Station, Durand Toyota Dealership, past Bellows Falls Union High School.  Compass School is approximately 200yds. past the High School on the RIGHT  (if you cross a bridge, you have gone too far).
